I also run a weekly night in Kings X (Sydney, Australia) called Saturdays @ Tonic Lounge which showcases all forms of soul based music. The night has been going strong for 6 years and is the only weekly funk n soul party in Sydney.
This is the only Koko Taylor record in my collection and so I know nothing about her, except that it's a great little track with exceptional lyrics.
